Rules

We value friendliness and respect for other players here. Please follow the rules so everyone feels comfortable. The rules apply both to the server and to the project's social networks.

General#

1.0 Not knowing the rules does not exempt you from responsibility.
1.1 By starting to play on the server you automatically agree to these rules.
1.2 A player must comply with the requirements of the staff and of these rules.
1.3 The staff is not responsible if playing on the server becomes impossible.
1.4 An administrator may punish a player for a reason not listed in the rules.
1.5 An administrator may not change the rules without notifying the players.
1.6 An administrator is not obliged to return items in case of: drop cleanup, theft, wipe, map rollback or bugs not caused by the staff.
1.7 An administrator is not obliged to help by constructing buildings or handing out resources.
1.8 The severity of a violation and the length of the punishment are decided case by case, at the staff's discretion.
1.9 Circumventing the rules or punishments in any way, as well as sharing methods of circumventing them, is forbidden.
1.10 If a member does something forbidden that is not listed in the rules, the staff may punish them for it and update the rules.

Account#

2.0 An in-game nickname must not contain insults.
2.1 Transferring or selling an account is forbidden.
2.2 The account owner is responsible regardless of who acted under that account.
2.3 Creating more than 4 accounts is forbidden.
2.4 Using a nickname in /nick similar to that of a donator or an administrator is forbidden.

Chat, communication and voice#

3.0 Insults and morally unacceptable statements towards a person are forbidden; this also applies to private messages.
3.1 Insulting parents and relatives is forbidden.
3.2 Insulting the staff, the project team or the project itself is forbidden.
3.3 Any advertising is forbidden.
3.4 Spam and flood are forbidden.
3.5 Any provocations and calls to spam are forbidden.
3.6 Telling other players how and what to do is forbidden.
3.7 Impersonating an administrator is forbidden.
3.8 Sharing information about bugs with other players is forbidden.
3.9 Deceiving players and the staff is forbidden.
3.10 Threatening players, including with a ban or with the removal of a privilege, is forbidden.
3.11 Begging for items, currency and so on is forbidden.
3.13 Discussion of politics, religion or racism is forbidden.
3.14 Creating conflicts is forbidden; the punishment applies to every participant of the conflict.
3.15 Distorting other players' nicknames is forbidden.
3.16 Frequent flood and spam with meaningless messages that clutter the chat is forbidden.
3.17 A video recording showing the player's nickname may serve as proof of a violation. The minimum punishment for a voice chat violation is a temporary ban, for a chat violation — a mute.
3.18 Swearing is allowed, but in moderation and not with the intent to insult.

Gameplay#

4.0 Any kind of griefing inside regions is forbidden.
4.1 Distributing malicious content via links is forbidden.
4.2 A player must leave a claim at the owner's request.
4.3 Setting homes or warps inside other players' claims is forbidden.
4.4 Claiming territory above or next to other players' buildings without the claim owner's permission is forbidden.
4.5 Deliberately lagging the server with huge farms, lag machines, exploits and so on is forbidden.
4.6 Interfering with the gameplay, be it the PvP arena or players' claims, is forbidden.
4.7 Selling anything on the server for real money is forbidden.
4.8 Insults or political statements in a pet's name and phrases are forbidden.
4.9 Using server bugs is forbidden.
4.10 Using cheats, mods, bugs, exploits and so on to make the game easier or to harm other players, as well as any modification giving an unfair advantage, is forbidden.

Buildings#

5.0 Buildings outside a claim are available to other players.
5.1 Flooding other players' claims with lava, water and so on in order to block access to the territory is forbidden.
5.4 Pointless vandalism of free map territory or of areas near claims is forbidden.

Punishments#

There are no fixed punishments for a given action — everything depends on the context. This is what the staff relies on when issuing one.

A first-time violation is punished far more lightly than repeated ones.
The more a player breaks the rules, the harsher the punishment.
A light violation — an insult, spam, flood — leads to a mute starting from 5 minutes; repeated violations may lead to a ban.
A severe violation — advertising, griefing, selling for real money, insults in voice chat, playing with cheats — leads to a ban starting from 12 hours.

Advice for players#

If you are being insulted, do not sink to the offender's level and do not insult back, otherwise both of you will be punished.
If someone is playing with cheats, record it on video so that there is proof against the player. The same goes for insults.
